23 Mar Eater LA: Eggslut Is Glendale’s Bright New Breakfast Dominator
The storefront across from the Americana is now open
By Farley Elliott | Mar 23, 2017
Today is the day for Eastside egg lovers, as the long-awaited Eggslut has moved in next door to Shake Shack and across the street from the Americana. The buzzy Brand Boulevard location offers prime real estate for the neighborhood — and is already attracting quite a crowd.
Doors were open as of 8 a.m. today, with a line queuing up early (the first 100 folks in line actually got some free food) despite the windy morning. Now that the place is up and running officially, expect that cavalcade of supporters to continue, as the Alvin Cailan brand of egg sandwiches shows now signs of slowing down. After all, they now have three operating locationsacross Los Angeles, and another inside the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Take a look at the below opening images from the early day madness today, then make a plan to get to Eggslut Glendale yourself sometime soon. Hours are daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
