Take the Pledge
The City of Glendale’s Economic Development Division recognizes the efforts and commitments being made by local businesses to ensure the health and safety of their employees and clients. To help businesses share their commitment and inform their customers that they can conduct business safely at their establishment, the City has developed a “Safety First Pledge.”
By taking the Safety First Pledge, businesses pledge to:
- Follow the latest Los Angeles County Health Orders including “Reopening Safer at Work and in the Community for Control of COVID-19” orders
- Follow all Los Angeles County reopening guidelines and protocols for my type of business
- Enforce the use of face coverings for employees and customers
- Practice safe physical distancing of at least 6-feet
- Provide hand sanitizer for employees and customers
- Institute a plan with procedures for regular cleaning and disinfecting of high touch surfaces
- Ensure that my employees understand the relevant LA County Orders, protocols and guidance
The LA County Health Orders including the “Reopening Safer at Work and in the Community for Control of COVID-19” order, can be found on the LA County COVID-19 Resources page.
