Who We Are
Located along the Brand Boulevard corridor in the heart of Glendale, the Greater Downtown Glendale Association (GDGA) is a privately funded business improvement organization, supported by a special assessment on property owners in the district.
Led by an all-volunteer board of property owners, residents, and businesses, GDGA works to build downtown Glendale’s reputation, improve public spaces, keep the district clean and safe through its ambassador program, and drive commerce for local businesses.
Through partnerships with The Americana at Brand, Glendale Galleria, Alex Theatre, Glendale Arts, the City of Glendale, and the Glendale Economic Development Corporation, GDGA helps bring some of downtown’s biggest events to life, including Taste Walk Glendale, Cruise Night, the Jingle Bell Run, Glendale Tech Week, and the International Women’s Day Summit.

The Greater Downtown Glendale Association is managed by New City America (NCA), a nationally recognized leader in business improvement district management. NCA provides expert guidance in district operations, public space development, and community programming, helping GDGA maintain a clean, safe, and vibrant downtown for businesses, residents, and visitors alike!
