Beethoven was known to take long walks in the woods to revitalize his spirit and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. His playful ‘Pastoral’ Symphony evokes the very human need to commune with nature. In his LACO debut, distinguished international conductor Hans Graf leads you on this invigorating trek, while Italian prodigy Alessio Bax, in his first Los Angeles engagement, infuses the Mozart Piano Concerto with passion. The evening’s program includes:
Hans Graf, conductor Alessio Bax, piano
DUTILLEUX – Mystère de l’instant MOZART – Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor BEETHOVEN – Symphony No. 6 in F major, ‘Pastoral’
Programs and artists subject to change.
