White-hot Glendale’s dining scene continues to glow with the bright arrival of The Halal Guysnext week. The New York City transplants have practically made a point of big openings with longs lines and food giveaways, and their Brand Boulevard arrival should be no different.
The new destination sits at the corner of Brand Boulevard and Wilson Avenue, an area north of the Americana that has been teeming with life of late. That includes the popular 85°C Bakery, which started serving their famous Taiwanese desserts just a few days ago. Add in the existing restaurants there and newcomers from Shake Shack to Tsujita down the block, and suddenly Glendale is hotter than ever.
The official arrival of The Halal Guys to Glendale comes on Friday, March 17 at 11 a.m. That’s when the restaurant will be giving out swag to the first 1,000 folks in line, and giving away free food for a month to ten lucky winners. And even if you don’t make it for the opening round, the restaurant is staying until 2 a.m. so you’ll have plenty of time to try it all on day one.
