Glendale Tech Week: Space Matters: How Design Fosters Community & Innovation @ MGN Theater

Join us for this panel at Glendale Tech Week as we hear panelists discuss how design has the potential to shape community and inspire innovation. Three perspectives on design are offered by:

Alan Loomis, Deputy Director of Urban Design and Mobility, as he discusses an ambitious freeway cap project, called Space 134,over the 134 Freeway.

Andy Stevens, Community Sales Lead at WeWork, as he discusses the spirit of collaboration and community that has developed within the wall of WeWork through design, beer and coffee.

Debra Gerod, Partner at Gruen Associates, as she discusses her latest undertaking in designing a Maker Space and updated library for the City of Glendale’s Central Library.

This hour-long panel is free to the public and will be held at MGN Cinema.
