Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Presents BACH’S BIRTHDAY

Think of a teacher that inspired you to greatness. Or a student you mentored to success. Do you wonder what happened to them? For violinists Jaime Laredo and Jennifer Koh the answer is clear. Teacher and revered soloist Laredo joins Koh, his student-turned-star, to perform Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins in D minor under the direction of dynamic young guest conductor James Feddeck in his Los Angeles debut. The teacher and former student also share the spotlight for the West Coast premiere of Anna Clyne’s Prince of Clouds, a Baroque-style concerto inspired by Laredo and Koh’s artistic family tree. The evening’s program includes:

7:00 PM – Pre-Concert Preludes – Your ticket includes admission to this pre-concert extra. Some Preludes will feature LIVE performances of short chamber works. All will provide interesting insights into the music and the artists.

Running time is approximately 2 hours with one intermission and the performance is suitable for ages 6 and older. Every person, including children age 2 and younger who sit on a lap, must have a ticket. Photo/Video recording by patrons is NOT allowed.
