He began playing the drums professionally at 18 months old and appeared on The Tonight Show at age seven\, which led to his getting signed to Prince’s record label\, Paisley Park Enterprises/NPG Records\, at the age of 10\, among his many other notable achievements. \nWhen Drums Conduct spans multiple genres including rock\, jazz\, world\, and classical and features Grammy Award-winning artists such as System of a Down’s Daron Malakian\, Victor Wooten\, Poncho Sanchez\, Patrick Moraz\, Djivan Gasparyan\, the USC Trojan Marching Band\, and the Lark Choir. \nJacob Armen Live: A Celebration of Rhythm is proudly presented in association with Glendale Arts.
