SUMMARY:Antaeus Theatre Company: The Hothouse
DESCRIPTION:Harold Pinter’s The Hothouse tells a blisteringly funny story of a government-run institution in which the wardens may be more mad than the patients. Filled with Pinter’s biting political commentary on the perils of unchecked power\, the battle for control results in absurdly comedic mayhem.

SUMMARY:Musical Theatre Guild Presents High Society
DESCRIPTION:Music and Lyrics: Cole Porter\nBook: Arthur Kopit\nBased on Philip Barry’s 1939 stage comedy The Philadelphia Story and subsequent 1956 musical film adaptation\, High Society. \nIn 1956\, Bing Crosby\, Frank Sinatra and the stunning Grace Kelly brought this musical adaptation of Philip Barry’s The Philadelphia Story to life on the silver screen\, where it featured a sparkling score by musical master Cole Porter. This 1988 Broadway adaptation takes Porter even further by pouring more of his classic tunes into the party punchbowl than you can sing in one night. But we will! The plot centers on pretentious socialite Tracy Samantha Lord\, who is planning to wed an equally pretentious executive when her ex-husband arrives to disrupt the proceedings. You’re invited to this non-stop romp of great Porter songs and mismatched romances. which includes most of the music featured in the 1956 movie. ‘Well\, Did You Evah? What a swell party this is!’
