Karaoke Contest – Greater Downtown Glendale Association: The association is holding a contest to promote shopping in the business district along Brand Boulevard. Rules include: choose a song to sing but rewrite the lyrics to focus on the theme of welcoming the public back to shopping in Glendale’s downtown district; song must be under five minutes; must be age 18 or older to enter; and, post the video on FaceBook, Instagram or Twitter using the tag @DWTNGlendale.
Four winners will receive a $1,000, $500, $300 or $200 shopping spree in the district (information on the association here: bit.ly/2EjOttw).
The deadline to submit the video is Oct. 9.
