The Emerging Arts Leaders/Los Angeles presents the 2nd Annual Summer Soiree, a celebration of the impact of EAL/LA programs on the Los Angeles arts ecology. This celebration features great food and drinks, live music from Erna and the Erratics and the opportunity to connect with other emerging arts leaders. We are proud to announce that Danielle Brazell, General Manager of the LA Department of Cultural Affairs and former Executive Director of Arts for LA, is the Soiree’s keynote speaker. GLENDALE YOUTH ORCHESTRA 25th SEASON Brad Keimach, Conductor The 25th Season Finale program includes performances by the winners of this year’s Concerto Competition.

For one evening, leave the multitasking to LACO music director Jeffrey Kahane as he conducts two double concertos from the keyboard and a third from the podium. Kahane is joined by 12-year-old Ray Ushikubo for Bach and LA favorite Joanne Pearce Martin for Mozart. Jeremy Denk, music director of the 2014 Ojai Festival, is the soloist for the fiendishly finger-twisting Ligeti concerto.
