Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy illuminates the courage of a young woman casting off the constraints of her world and starting anew in the Forest of Arden. Funny, hopeful, tender, and wise, As You Like It subverts the traditional rules of romance and moves us through all the seasons of love.

Things are about to get loud at Downtown Central Library this summer with pop-up style performances at the outdoor plaza in front of Central Library on Harvard Street. 222 EAST performances are supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program.

The C Dream Annual Performance moves to the Jewel City and the Alex Theatre in the summer of 2017, bringing to audiences an amazing fusion of three Chinese art gems: folk and contemporary dance, Peking Opera, and traditional music.
