Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra presents celebrated soprano Lydia Teuscher in a classic program led by guest conductor Bernard Labadie, one of the world’s leading conductors of baroque and classical repertoire. Teuscher performs arias by Mozart and Handel, including Mio Caro Bene, Rodelinda’s final aria from Handel’s Rodelinda. The concert also features Haydn’s ‘Surprise’ Symphony and Bach’sOrchestral Suite No. 3. LACO’s vibrant and engaging Orchestral Series showcases the ensemble’s remarkable artistry and trademark mix of regal classics and music from today’s leading composers. The audience is invited to a free post-concert party in the Lobby to celebrate!

VM Foundation presents the premiere of a documentary film about legendary musician Jivan Gasparyan, who presents the film in person. The film is in Armenian with English subtitles.

Artists For Kids presents LORIK, an Armenian language film by Michael Poghosyan. The film’s protagonist is actor Lorik, Laurence Olivier’s namesake. When Lorik was a child, he lost his parents, who also were actors. Raised by his aunt, Lorik realizes his childhood dream and becomes an actor, but he lives in the imaginary world of his roles. He is now Cyrano de Bergerac, then King Richard. However, the main role he plays is not performed on the stage but in the conduct of his own life: the Rabbit from ‘Alice in Wonderland.’ Lorik does not perceive today’s realities and is afraid...
